Finally, In NJ all fire arms must be LOCKED (as in with key or combination lock) in a CASE (soft or hard doesn't matter... felt bag = no) in the tunk or rear of the vehicle if the vehicle doesn have a trunk (Jeep Wrangler). Ammunition must not occupy the same space as the firearm unless it is also LOCKED in a SEPERATE case. Firearms cannot be loaded under any circumstances. Firearms can only be transported from your place of residence to the place you intend to use them (target range, hunting grounds, etc) You can actually get a ticket if your found say with your handgun in its locked case on your way to work cause your going to the range after work. I only know this because I got one. Fun Fact: In NJ, a state of over 8 million residents, there are only a little over 3000 CCW permits and most are held by retired LE.

That is about the same as CA, then. If you are going hunting or to the range, ok to have in car. Plain sight or in glovebox or middle console is a definite No-No. Even with CCW, it has to be on person or in plain sight. Most states have their gun laws spelled out on the DOJ website.

so does that mean I should take the gun ruck out of my window??? (j/k) I've seen vehicles with gun racks in the back windows with there rifles up there. I alwasy thought that was crazy. Who wants a gun behind there head? Loaded or not. also screams "I married my cousin"..

intristing, i got pulled over after about two years for window tint, 5 percent on all 5 except the windshield and i got pulled over. Its illigal i know so i didnt say anything and pulled it off and went back to show them. he then procedded to tell me that because they are getting all this money to stop drunk driving so they need to pull more people over in a day and they had more cops out. All i said was thanks for making me a statistic today. was i pissed i wasn't speeding or any thing else 2 years and they all have seen it before. I told him i could see if i had 2 wheels on the sidewalk but i was obeying the law and this was my first ticket ever besides a seetbelt fine 5 years ago.

Jammin you wern't obeying the law. Your window tint was illegal. Wether they stopped you before for that reason or not is irrelevant. They have more cops on the street to look out for drunk driving and that was their reason for pulling you over. Just like if you had a busted tail light or your plate light were out. Its a reason to check you out.

Ben, that's messed up. Will they allow you to run an optional rim and tire size? By that, let's say Chevy offers the stock Tahoe in a15" rim, but they make as an option a 17". If you bought a base model with the 15's, could you go up to the 17's?

Screw'em my truck came stock with 20's :)

It's not that I'm a huge wheel fan but I couldn't fit my family in a Lightning that only came with 18's lol Anyways, I reall can't comment on this since the pictures wouldn't work right for me. I will say in Texas you can left your truck but the Hight lights has to shine "x" amount on the street. The same way goes for lowering the car. I know a guy here who had a 7's second street car ( those in Houston may know it since it was sold there) that the head lights was to low. They wouldn't give him an inspection sticker because of it. So he installed a set of Hydrolics to the front that raised the the front when the lights was on. The car was under a home built car title and why it was able to pass everything else.
