Let's see some cool paint jobs. Let this be an inspirational thread.

This isn't an RC, but Lumilor can be used on an RC car. This is not glow in the dark paint. It is actually electrically conductive paint, and it lights up with power. If you check out the Lumilor FB group, there are a few RC cars done with this paint. Notice this paintjob has a skull sprayed with Lumilor, then another paintjob of a woman over it. So in the day you see the woman, at night, you see her skull.

I always liked the design that was on my friends old 90s hpi rs4 mt electric. Simple yet stylish.

Love those! I just did a test of real fire a month ago to test out some new paint I got. Never tried painting real fire before this, so I didn't know what I was doing. And doing this in reverse on a clear sheet was hard to visualize what it would look like on the front. But I think I will be able to make better flames next time.

I cheat with flames. I get ones with ghost flames. Not really flames . But you get it .🤔Then paint the body a solid color. Which shows threw in the clear areas. But I have a clear body. That I'm going to try to do different. Maybe hot pink flames & brilliant blue body. So on the bottom pick.those flames in pint and the rest blue

It's not real hard to get the concept down. And there are many ways to do it. It just seems like it will take a bit of practice. Basically, you spray your lightest candy where the flames will be, focusing on the base of the flames. Then lay down some white flames. Then spray your next darker candy, extend the flames, etc. You can do flames with one candy color, or a fade with many colors.

I get the how to paint part of it. Its the drawing of them on body I sick at LOL . With either the body masking paint or with tape. SH*T or even with pencil. I can't draw worth a dam LOL🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣

Anything we do or want to learn take practice And patience. I also like running just clear bodies so you can see all the internals. It's different. Bad example with my old as the dirt on it pro x buggy

I have a brand new body for the prox still in box clear. LOL just not sure about it. Because it took awhile to find a new body for the so call vintage RC. Anything under 2000. That make me a dinosaur 🦕. But don't want to fu*k it up either 🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣 so sad😥😥

Yeah, that is an idear. The flames I did were as actually done with stencils. I didn't draw anything out first, but if I had it we would have helped.
