converting three link to four link

I'm new to rock crawling just bought a axial ax-10 rtc i want to change the three link to a four linkon the front and rear how easy is it and what parts do i have to buy to do it also I'm putting weight in the front wheels whats a good weight to start with

As for weight try about 3-4oz. in each front wheel and none in the rear wheels.

As for going to a 4 link setup which is a great idea check out East End Machining, here is a link top a front and rear 4 link mounts.

The front 4 link that I'm recommending will also allow you to run a lipo battery on the front axle, this helps to keep your weight down low and forward, which is where you want it on a crawler.:D
 
I'm in the process of doing the same thing. The 4 link plates are a must EEM has them the cheapest. I'm not sure of the upper links that I'm getting but I will be using traxxas revo rod ends.#tra5347. Axials rod ends don't hold up and under stress they get yanked out. Have youchecked out some of the build threads to see what some of the other guys are using?
