Has anyone ever done this? I have a 32cc 2stroke on a DBXL and was curious if an injection conversion had ever been done. I absolutely hate carb's and am pretty knowledgeable in the area of fuel injection. I briefly searched around but didn't see much info out there. So again, anyone ever done this?

I'm aware of different crank triggers that are pretty much universal but I've never tried to adapt it to a 2 stroke. I did successfully fuel inject an old Honda 400 quad racer but that was 4 stroke. I'm not aware of any wide band oxygen sensors that can read correctly with mixed fuel. I'm not even sure anyone makes an injector compatible with mixed fuel. I was hoping someone here hates carbs as much as I do and had done this successfully.

Are there electronics bits out there for the injection timing on those smaller engines?

Interesting idea to pursue... but hurry it up! :hehe:
Stihl has an efi chainsaw. Probably the clostest out there but I want to say it's double the displacement.

Honda 400 with the two circle headlights? I used to drool over those.

That'd be an amazing idea. For whatever reason, I've never had any problems with carbs for little nitro engines, but if a petrol two stroke sits for half a year, their carb is unusable. Just my experience.

You use ethonal free gas? If possible get a walbro or the other top brand carbs. On my sticks they last no matter how long they sit within reason. The cheapest of Amazon crapped out after a month.

I searched the entire Netherlands for ethanol-free gas, and after a year I found some. I even checked it myself and it is indeed ethanol free.
Edit: that sounded strange🤣 I used water to tell if ethanol dissolved
I've gone through multiple walbro carbs, it tires me... 🤣 I went rich, lean, everything, on all needles. I also tried mixing more or less motul 800 oil in fuel. Gas two strokes just don't like me.
