I've ran Common Sense Lipo's in other RC's and have been pleased with their batteries even more considering their price.

I'd like to upgrade my mini e-revo with a set of lipo's, does anyone know if they make a lipo battery that will fit? I haven't seen to much of what will and won't fit in the mini revo.

Thanks.

I use a Maxamps 2200 2S pack which is 34mm X 99mm X 16mm just to give you an idea on what size pack will fit.

Ok after digging around further I found that the Mini E-Revo battery tray has the following demensions: 101.9x35.5x20.3mm

With that it looks like the common sense #2S2200-25 (2c 7.4v 2200mAh) and #3S1300-25 (3c 11.4v 1300mAh) batteries will fit.

For as much as I am going to run this I just can't see spending the extra coin on a MaxAmps battery.

Dang, thats a small tray. Small rig thoug, so I guess it makes sense lol.

rccks,

Thanks for the link, that looks like a really nice battery. Are you running one or two of these? Also have you actually tried to charge these things at 5C rates like they claim they can handle?

I am running a single pack in mine. I haven't tried to charge at 5c yet, I'll try it out and let you know how it works.

I've been compiling a small list of batteries that will fit the E-Revo and after looking it over the Hyperion has me sold.

Found one on ebay this morning and got it for $38.00 shipped. :D

The Hyperion came in yesterday, charged it and ran it in the mini revo... it's stupid sick. This thing runs faster then two stock batteries and doing wheelies while in mid throttle.

The battery is awesome plus it's a nice fit for my SCX10 as well. :D

I run these parallel in my Revo VXL and its sick fast. http://www.hobbycity.com/hobbycity/store/uh_viewItem.asp?idproduct=6307

I also run these parallel as well for more run time. http://www.hobbycity.com/hobbycity/store/uh_viewItem.asp?idproduct=8933

I've ordered 8 packs from there and have had zero problems with any. :)

There is NO NEED TO RUN THESE IN PARALLEL!!! I drove 30mins away without my charger and didnt feel like going back so I decided to try one pack at a time. The only difference is shorter run time and slight pack temp increase. With the 3S 1500mah i get about 20-25 mins of bash time and if I drive the (BLEEP) out the truck I get a max pack temp of 119*F. And with the 2S 2200mah I get about 35-40 mins :whhooo: of bash time and a max pack temp of about 95*F. Now if I can just get the motor and ESC to run cooler :hehe:
