Greetings, Can anyone tell me where I can find a break in procedure for the Collari .30?

Any response would be greatly appreciated. Thanks

Getting your 30MT engine started
Begin by gently turning the high-speed needle all the way in, back it out seven and a half 360 degree turns. Confirm the bottom end mixture is set at four and a half turns from being bottomed out. As it's easiest for the engine to start with a high idle, confirm it's held open by the idle stop screw for an opening of 1.5mm. Once the engine fires, the idle will be fast. Bring the idle down via the idle stop screw, idle the engine down as low as possible without it dying. Idle one tank (approx 125cc) completely through the engine. Let the engine cool for about 30 minutes with the piston at bottom dead center. On tank 2 you may begin driving, start by leaning the top 1/8th, roll the throttle smoothly while you drive. Each successive tank following lean the top 1/8th of a turn at a time, until the engine can reach maximum RPM. Occasionally achieving full throttle is OK to clear engine of fuel. Depending on your atmospheric condition and engine options, you can anticipate leaning the engine somewhere in the realm of 1.5 turns.

Thanks Sweetdiesel. Will give that a try.

Whilke on this subject, is it better to lean it out to the point of seeing smoke emit from the tailpipe during break-in/tuning?

It is not better to lean it, but to richen it, to the point where you see smoke from the tailpipe for breakin...

yep I understand. Thanks ImBroken!

One more question though... Once the lsn is set at four and a half turns, will that needle need to be adjusted? It does mention above that the idle screw will need to be tweeked to lower the engine idle which will affect the lsn setting, or will that idle tweek put the lsn setting where we want it to be?
