I definitely recommend upgrading to a 3 shoe clutch. Better tunability and engagement. With the 3 speed you have more choices of shoes and clutches.

ya ill prob need a high stall clutch for what I'm pulling. i made a trailer 2 hold my gas and 2 cars the remote pretty much everything so i dont have to carry it to the park

For high stall, you mean as having the motor rev up first before having the clutch engaging right? If so, then you can adjust this with the springs. They sell them by the mm. So a 1.2mm spring will engage later than a 0.9mm spring. I believe the highest they make is a 1.2mm spring (Checked AMain). You can adjust it even more with the Nova clutch shoes (They make a 3 shoe style also.)

The problem is, you may have trouble finding a 40mm 3 shoe flywheel. The ones I see are only 2 shoe, unless you buy the whole flywheel conversion set.

I did another quick google and found that Traxxas makes a high stall clutch set.

You can run that spring with the Nova shoes. That should work perfect.
