I have heard people talk about not being able to roll your car easily could be a problem. My question is my car rolls forward w no problem but when i try to roll it backwards its like something catches and it jerks.I have a hpi mt and it doesn't have reverse so does this mean that i may have a problem and if so what should i do to fix it thanks...

How would i figure that out and fix it??? its 4wd would that make any difference???

i took it apart and looked in it rolled it around on the floor and it wasn't doing it anymore, so i put it back together and the problem was gone. weird id have to say lol but thanks man

Gear mesh is how much the teeth are contacting each other. Use a piece of note book paper between the clutch bell and the spur gear, push the gears together and tighten the engine down. The idea is to get the mesh as tight as possible, while still having a "tick" of play all the way around. No binding. Check your work to make sure the mesh is not too loose now.

A tick =.005 of an inch which = a piece of note book paper!(Bash On):hehe:
