I am trying to change my clutch to a new clutch assembly, and I am having problems getting the old assembly off, I assume it is threaded on possibly left hand thread? - how do you lock the crank so it don't move and not harm the crank? - please help, I have everything tore down and I can't get up - weather breaking and no buggy:\

what motor?

and i dont believe they are threaded on your bearings may be blown making it hard for it to come off?

thanks, but with some help - I forgot to remove the nut so hence flywheel would not coome off. lesson learned

yeah hard lesson to learn, now I think I have problems - is "pinch" a feeling like a flat spot at TDC? once I got everything back together, I feel a pronounced flat spot at TDC, everything else feels great. I feel I just dug myself a huge hole.

If you mean when you get to TDC it "drags" then yes, that's the pinch of the piston and sleeve you feel and that's normal...

yeah I was afraid of that, this feels like a detent at TDC. I can put pressure on the connecting rod and it almost goes away or at least barely noticeable. I thought I would pull the sleeve but noooo can't get it out either. Its funny I work on Harley motors everyday but this little motor is kicking my butt.

Yea, there was somebody here a while back talking up about how he could build race engines, blah blah blah, and argued about knowing everything on a 1:1 engine, and insisting these were the same.

Don't worry, you'll get used to it, and it will be alot easier for you.

I hope so - I got a bunch of equipment for repairing a bike, now its costing me money.... oh well - anybody got a .21 mill? lol... thanks everyone, this is a great forum, I belong to about a dozen and you guys are the best. Get used to me I ask alot of questions (hopefully not all stupid ones)....
