hey everyone does anyone have some good suggestions so what clutc bell bearings to get? my engine is a lrp z28r but every time i put new clutch bell bearings in it just destroys them and the last time i even got it done by a shop and the got crushed aswell! so i was wondering are there better bearings out there made for the bigger and more powerful engines that can handle bait more power?

thanks parry

Maybe your clutch is glazed, which will cause it to slip too much and overheat the bearings. Most clutches need to be roughed up with sandpaper once in a while.

Do the bell and shoes. Most brands of bearings should last at least a gallon or more, don't waste your money on ceramics though.

Every time I service my engine as in removal I always go through and check BC and shoes giving them a bit of a scuff with wet n dry sandpaper but do the scuffing from front to back of bell rather than scratching around and around. The more slip you have under throttle the hotter CB and it's bearings get.

when i went to a small dia gear, i had to go to a 8 mm bearing that would wipe out very fast. so i went back to bigger gear and a 10 mm bearing, no more trouble

its prob not shimmed. i was going through 2 bearings for every tank of fuel. till i shimmed it. been through a over a gallon or two so far on the same bearings.
