Last week I purchsed a C6 BBT and installed it in my Losi 8T and the clutch bearings didn't go onto the cran easily. It took a little bit of work which included some light tapping on the bearing it self.
When I went to clean the engine after this weekend the bearings didn't want to come off easily. I got the front bearing off by pulling on the clutch bell but the rear bearing was a real pain. I tried heating the bearing and crank and taking a flat headed screw driver and prying underneath the bearing against the Losi flywheel. Well it took me 15 minutes and now I have a bent flywheel and a destroyed bearing. I had to basically beak the bearing into its parts to remove it. I went to rebuild the clutch and once again its kinda difficult to install the bearings so I stopped this time. THe crank where the bearings ride with my digital calipers reads anywhere froom 4.98 to 5.02 depending on how much pressure I put on the calipers. Any help would be appreciated thanks. These particular rack of bocca bearings I have been using on three other different mils with no problem.

take a small piece of emery cloth and run it around the crank where the rear bearing sets. keep trying to put the bearing on. if it dont go on smoothly, then hit it with the emery cloth again. just be carefull not to remove too much material so the bearing is sloppy on the crank, or you ll be buying a new crank.

ouch, damn I'm remembering why i moved to gassers. lol

350 gets me a 28.5 cc motor, with a Reed Cage installed on it and race porting giving me about 5.5 BHP at the rear wheels With a good tuned pipe installed ofcourse.
