Work can take me all over sometimes, got to spend the night in Reno, Nv. With nothing better to do than sit in a hotel room I thought I would go out walking. My trip took me right past CKRC, they have a nice place and friendly employees. If you happen to pass through Reno, make a stop in. Feed the RC addiction, not the casinos!

Sometime in the next couple of months my daughter has a gymnastics tournament in Reno. I already have CKRC programmed in my GPS so I can stop in during the stay.

see if they'll step up their customer service! lol....I just wanna see Jakes (the owners) 1:1 crawler.

I have read that their CS is bad.

I have never had a problem though. Every order I have placed is received in a couple of days. They even ran out of stock on an item and called me to let me know.

His 1:1 was at RCX this year. It is badass.

i seen a vid with it on the tube, i want it! would be very very very fun!

and yeah, I've had many many problems with them among many success's so its kinda just iffy.

That sucks to hear about their customer service - They seem to have a nice site with a wide range of items, I've just never gotten around to order anything from them yet.

I dont wanna discourage anyone from ordering from them as they do ALOT for the crawling community. i just have had some bad luck with them but still have had many perfect transactions with them too. I'm sure about every business has a "mess up" now and then where the customer has the take the blunt of it and thats most likely gonna be unavoidable sometimes. They are usually on my list of the main 5 vendors i purchase from though, EEM, RPP and TCS all three being first though then ck and tower. (i just dont like all the extra crap tower is always putting in my shopping cart lol)

I have only ordered from them one time but my order went out the same day, Lloyd I think the problem is you live in such a small town that the postal service only sends packages a couple time a week out your way, LOL!!! JK!!! :D:hehe::p:

ya and if their horses are sick we have to wait till the next month......wtf? lmao

CKRC hold the dubious honour of being the guts that got me started with my Axial almost a year ago. I ordered an AX-10 kit, Sidewinder, Integy 55T motor and a CastleLink from them to be delivered to the sunny UK. They did the job and got me the goods, well packed and all in order. NEver really had to talk to them so I'm not sure what their CS is like tho...

If anyone is interested, I saw they had a help wanted sign. They are looking for someone to pack and ship orders. Never have ordered anything from them yet, I do mean yet. A couple more of these little trips and I might have enough saved to get their comp A kit and a couple extra goodies.
