Here is the life of my Stampede. Photos are current, and I'll add more photos from almost day one as I come across them.

I got my XL5 stampede on Christmas 06, and a VXL model on Christmas 07. Started off on NiMH and by 2009 it was 3s lipo. I did a wide mod on the front, and front offset wheels so I can spin around and whip it. The chassis is a 1/8 Fast Lane Machine (FLM) and allows thicker Maxx/Revo 3.3 bodies.

Running a sidewinder until it goes to my Bandit, then I'm going 3 or 4s Castle.

Looks like your going to work for Google Street View. ;)
I feel like it. At times I have 2 or 3 go pros.
Great looking truck bud. Stampede's are so fun to run, I have both the 4wd and 2wd, I love them.
I came close a few times on getting a 4x4. If I could extend it I would in a heartbeat.

Some items from my phone. The picture below is back in 2010 or so. I lowered the body using custom cut body posts to the point the esc cooling fan was sticking out.

Next is with the vxl 3s system, Proline Dodge mega cab body, Masher 2ks, and Proline wheels. The front shocks are Team Losi.

Below is a Stampede Nail Gun. This was 2009 or so.

Gotta love it when you get half what you order. Those look nice though. Should throw some good sparks if you get some speed going.

@Doom! Should like these roosts. Brand new 3s Sidewinder 3800 with less then 10 packs in.

the upside down pic I looped out, slid, and stopped like that after 40 or 50 feet.

If I can get over this rut I plan on perfecting my wheelie bar for sparks by the weekend.

Post some of that video. Love to see other people get there cars that muddy!

Full aluminum chassis with some stabilizer links. Pretty cool :) I am planning on getting some SMC 3s batteries.

I guess the aluminum chassis holds up better. I know that the stock cracks near the servo. Some PL trencher tires would look awesome on a stampede.

The links are mainly to keep the body mount from violently shaking. My ocd hit strong one day so I had to fix it. I recently changed them to blue also. I'm happy with smc lipos.

I got the aluminum chassis for a lengthened chassis to run Revo 3.3 bodies and keep the battery safer so I don't turn into the village idiot. I do have Trencher 2.8, but with a fully tight slipper and full throttle launches, I got tired of drive shafts. I can also spin the back around at speed, ride reverse, them yank my front around. Trenches don't allow for that. 🤪

I am looking at stretching a 2.8 proline tire onto 3.8 RPM wheels. 10 years ago it was a hot mod to give you a large wheel with low profile tire and similar forces to a 2.8 wheel.

Got a run in this a.m. A broken stub axle ended it prematurely. I forgot my old password, so off to make a new yt account for videos.

Trying to figure out how to flip videos. Bent right rear shock, popped front shock out, broke tie rod...... curbed it 4 or 6 times at speed. Also mounted my battery down under for better lcg.

Took her out 10am and then again tonight, getting back at 00:48. Due to police, and several cars I decided to come back early.

those ones with the tires spinning are cool. I was out today mudding ours with my son. I have got to start making vids because where he got his Wraith stuck, I was able to burn through with my SMT10 monster truck. cool pics and cool truck. See, even Chevy RC's run better
