Nice shots! what track were those taken at? One more thing, you know anything about the scaledecals.net website, it's down. I've been looking to get some of those with my name on it and the one site I found was a little high, IMO.

thanks guys!

I used a Canon 20D camera and a Canon 70-200mm F4L lens

I don't know about the website, but I will ask the guy for you :)

wow sweet pics! That yellow ones doesn't run on much tires huh? Pretty cool.

Once again, amazing photographs! Always like checking your newest when you post 'em!

See, if it were me racing, it'd be an easy picture to take! Not a whole lot of planning when you take a picture of a dead rig!

nice! I am probably going to be buying this lens for my rebel xt in the next few months. how do you like it so far? I'm trying to decide whether the F2.8 is worth the almost $500 premium...

Hmmmm it depends.

Do you ever shoot indoor? If so, I think it would be wise to purchase an F4L for outdoor shooting and use the savings to buy a Canon 85mm 1.8 (around $350). The 1.8 is a great lens for low light indoor shooting. I really love my 1.8 since it is so versatile. It's great for portraits and indoor sports too like basketball. Here's a sample pic I took with the 85mm 1.8

Furthermore, you can always sell the 4FL if you find that you need the 2.8. These Canon lenses keep their value.

As for me, I might be upgrading to the 2.8 this xmas. But I am in no hurry to do that because I am very satisfied with my F4L.

What ever happened to you wanting to get your pics put into a magizine? Did it ever happen?

that was my thinking as well, though I hadn't thought about the 85.

hmm, just checked the price, not a bad deal actually.

thanks for the advice!
