Check on my day Yesterday

So i stroll into work around 6:25 am and shut the alarm off get the cash out and do my count get the other paper work done and open all the doors...lets get this day started right and open early...Great day the phones are going off the hook....customers three and four deep in front of all the counter guys.....and then we get most of them takin care of only two left in the store.....when i heard a Pop (sounded like a back fire), then pop pop pop pop pop pop pop pop pop....I look up and see two people face down on the other side of the street look to my right and see a Mopeed layin on the ground still running, i run outta the store and get half way in my parking lot, when i see this big black dude drive towards one of my employee's car then steer to his right as he did this, i seen a gun in his right hand, i yelled get his plate number (which no one could do). He drove off like nothing happened. Stopped at the two stop signs, one of my counter guys and myself run over to the mopeed to see if anyone is down, poor guy ran behind a block wall and was so scared, he was shaking like a leaf.... the other two got up and ran like hell....cops ther in about 15 minutes, found 10 9mm cases all over the street.....No one got hurt.....1 hour later there was another shooting about 2.5 miles west of my store....finished the day up set the alarm locked the doors around 6:00pm and went home

Nice. And did you stop out for some new boxers? Because if I were in your shoes I would have soiled 'em fast. Seriously? A drive-by? That has to shake the place up. I give you props for trying to keep control and get whatever info you could. Sometimes it's tough to keep cool in those situations. Good work. Hope today is quieter for you.

Thanks guys....the only thing we found with a bullet hole was the Stop sign....No one was hurt or shot...THNAK GOD....this could have been alot worse

I failed to mention, our store is right down the street from the UofA and people ride bikes, walk on this street all the time

Ya know, after saying the only thing the guy hit was a STOP sign, I have to believe that even though the guy's trying to be all thug and stuff, he's a really poopy shot. I'm surprised he didn't cap himself...

Wow.....just Wow. What a day.
Hopefully the guy will soil his shorts when they arrest him. Only a matter of time.
