I got a call yesterday from a skate shop in the cities that was having the grande opening today. Anyway I ended up having to do some banners for them and they happen to give me a tip on who was the special guests, so being my nephew is OBSESSED with skating and Tony hawk, I just had to bring him with. Heres a pic of him and the birdman. (Dang flash made him look super pale.. ugh..)

There were 8 pro skaters there in all. (he knew them all. I recognized a most of the names from the video game..lol)They were real cool and gave my nephew all sorts of Adio stuff, signed a bunch of stuff, the hat he's wearing, some special board cheats for tony hawk games, a couple dvd's, posters and some other gear. Was real cool. He told me it was the best day of his life, so it was very worth it.

Thats just the flash. doesn't help when Tony Hawk is so dark dude looks Hawaiian..lol.. But yeah it was real cool just being able to watch him meet his Idol. He was totally ah struck.

Hes a ultra cool kid and has loved Tony Hawk since he was like 3. So I just HAD to take him with.
Tony was a really nice guy. Very humble. And alot smaller than I imagined. But yeah, Nelson (My nephew) was one of the youngest ones there, so they took a liking to him right away.

Thats great! I met rune glifburg once and he was cool, I think most of those guys are laid back, go with the flow kind of guys!
