I have an ONYX 230 charger. I programmed it for my racers edge 11.1v 4100 30c lipo.
My question is that directions say not to charge it at more than 2c. Because its a 3c battery my charger wont allow this function. I dont think.. Help please!!

The Onyx 230 is only a 50W charger if you're running it off of AC power from your wall outlet. You can bump it up to 70W if you power it with some sort of DC power source. I'm going to guess you running it off the wall plug so if we do the math 50W/11.1V=4.5A maximum charge rate. A 1C charge rate for your lipo would be 4.1A so it can charge at a standard 1C rate which is what most people who are not in a hurry like to charge at. Even at 70W though you're still limited to about 6.3 A which gets you up into the 1.5C range. If you want to be able to charge faster than that you're gonna need a better charger my friend.

I'm not looking for faster.i want a good charge. I'm not sure how to set it for 1c. unless i set it up for charging a smaller
Battery. If i change the voltage the charge current will change.

I have a 3s 5000mah that is rated to be charged at 5c... however there is no way in hell my charger will put out 25amps at 11.1 volts. So I charge it a 5-8 amps normally. You will never hurt a battery by charging it slower than it's max charge rate.
