My wife made a good deal on some Duracell 2500mah batteries. How many amps should I charge these at? I started to charge them the same as a receiver pack but because they are 2500's I wasn't sure if I should do a Tim Taylor and use more power.

I'd think you'd charge them at the same rate you would a pack, just longer to get them charged up totally. That's what I do with the batteries in my TX.

2.5 amps or less

I use Energizer rechargable AA's in my Tx. instead of using the Energizer overnight charger I just put them in the battery holster and charge them at 2.5

Thats what I figure but just wanted to be sure.

Thanks guys

The method that I always use is, whatever the mah, i use that as a rate guide.
1200 mah, 1.2 amps
1400 mah, 1.4 amp

But I agree with Monstercowpower. I wouldn't be in a rush to charge them at 2.5 amps. It might be fine, but I would give them 1.2 or 1.4 amps and let them charge.

The cells are 2500 mah, I have been charging them in the radio at 1 amp with no problems. I'm now thing about getting a pack for the rx but not sure if it will be worth it.
