Charge time advice

I am considering making a 7 cell nihm pack.

My cells are 2300Mah aa's 1.2v

My pack will be 7 of these cells.

Can anyone direct me to what kinda of charge time, and amps i need to use to charge the pack? My charger goes to 3 amps..and has a timer but i have no idea how long I would charge such a pack.. and at what amp.

I would charge them at 3A no problem (uh oh, wait a minute, Wardo might have an opinion about that). It might take a good 45 minutes to get them up to snuff, though. Your charger isn't a peak detection charger? If not, you may want to get one. They make it so much easier. They just stop charging when the pack is charged.

No I don't have a peak charger yet hopefully soon. Until then I'm stuck with a 3A max timed charger, it only does 15 minute at a time too lol..

I am not worried about sacrificing battery life for a quick charge either heh..If 1 amp is 3 hours then 3 amps is just fine with me.

I do have a peak charger, buts its for ni-cads

I've been under the impression that 2.3 amps would be about the most you should charge those at but I'm most likely wrong. I just thought you move the decimal over 3 times and that's how many amps you charge at. I dunno, I'm so new to electrics.

Whatcha puttin it in? 1/18th? huh? huh? huh?

I'll be putting mine in my 1/20th mini giant.. BTW I ran mine yesterdy with 6 aa's the venoms.. wow like 45 to an hour of run time with the fireball motor..

Enough time to get so bored I was jumping the hell out of it, I was downright abusive lol.

that's awsome man, I can't wait to get a 7 cell of those in my mini. hey btw, I found some GP2300's on ebay and other places online. I was curious if the venom is just a GP2300 with a different wrap... whataya think?
