The body shell arrived today. Customizing it now. Will keep 1/2 looking very Neo Scorcher/ Factory. The other 1/2 with the hole I will be customizing. Not 100% sure yet what will look best. The yellow and blue wheels do not work well with the rest of the car.
We’ll see what happens 😆

Super stoked. The rear wing arrived. I like it a lot. Might need to do some modifying to it though. I prefer the look of covering the upper rear shock towers. Will probably do some bending/tweaking in the future.
-waiting on some more stickers “checkered flag” stickers to arrive. Need to finish wrapping the body.
-ordered a smaller fan. Other one is too large to fit onto the body.
-working on lowering the stance. Might cut springs.

Anyways…. Progress pictures.

Are you thinking about glueing screens on the insides of any of the openings?

Never thought about it. Can you show an image?

Might look pretty cool to add some window netting.

-the checkered flag vinyl arrived. Finished up 95% of the body now. Need to do some “clean-up” next. Looks great.

-installed the 30mm x 30mm fan. It lost the original shape I had intended… but looks fine still. Might adjust it later. The angle it’s on now will cool the motor better.

-will wrap the front and rear bumpers next.

-rally inspired hood vent hardware installed.

-waiting for silver Tamiya stickers to arrive so I can work more on the graphics/decals. The side that is completely checkered flags really needs some decals.

-need to: install blue lights, minor tweaking here/there, drill roof antenna hole, probably some other items :-).

On a rampage today!

-Installed the blue leds for the rear “window”
-corrected the fan. Looks much better.

It’s awesome to look at now with the blue lights.

Need to find some more blue lights. Rear is done but front feels empty.

The silver stickers arrived. Unfortunately they are VERY shiny/reflective. In the pictures they appeared more gray and dull. Went ahead and ordered some other Tamiya stickers which might work better on the Neo Scorcher.

The second set of LED lights arrived. I installed them on the drivers side vent area. I think it looks great! Pretty sure I will order another set of blue LEDs. I need to somehow illuminate the front cockpit of the car.

Patiently waiting for the orange wheels to arrive.

I love orange, but I think I preferred the yellow and white wheel combo, the blue and orange feel to dark. Heck you could do one of each. Looks killer either way. :)

Hi Doom!

I agree the blue and orange feel too dark. Would be nice to have a version that was more fluorescent like the yellow wheels.

Might switch it up down the road :)
