changing air cleaner on a losi

is the stuff in the tube a lub. and do i put it in the filter

not sure, got pics? it should say air filter oil.

you have 2 filters, an inner and an outer, take the inner filter and put a lil bit of oil in a ziplock bag, drop the Inner filter into it< after its cleaned ofcourse> and work the oil thruout the filter so its pretty evenly spread. install the now clean and properly oiled airfilter on the the Freshly Cleaned Air FIlter Housing ( yes be sure it is good an clean) and then re install the freshly cleaned OUTTER filter over the prefilter. Keep a good eye on it.

i will also take wheel bearing greese and put a thin layer on the mating ends of both the pre and outter air filters to help ensure the air flows Thru the filters, not next to the and the housing.
