Just clafifying here, so HPI .25, correct? Fired and used 1/4 gallon but now will not turn over even with the glow plug removed?

Is the engine still in the truck? If so is there ANYTHING binding on the flywheel?

If there is nothing binding on the flywheel, try turning the flywheel to turn the engine over? Does if turn over manually? Yes then the problem is somewhere in the rotostart. No then something is internally wrong and I would suggest returning the engine to HPI and have them take a look. If you opt against that and want to do it yourself then we will give you all the moral support we can from the net.

Does the roto start turn when it is not attached to the engine? Yes, then it could be the one way splintered and is causing the engne to bind. No, then check the battery connections.

Sorry to say so much here but LMK if any of these are present or not.

and sorry I'm telling u pretty much all i know which is nothing really

I'll probably be online for the rest of the night so we have plenty of time to get your engine figured out. Like Sky said, take a deep breath and continue to breath normally.

Ok if this is the case then I would either suggest some exploratory surgery to your savage or sneding the engine back to HPI.

when i called hpi they told me to take the engine out and try n break it free on the fly wheel with a pair of vice grips

You'll ding up your flywheel something fierce with vise grips. Please look at post 21 and check all those out for me.

Since I am unaware of an RTR 25 you built this so let's remove the engine and work from there.

i didnt do nothing its a rtr,the engine is out of the truck completely and will not turn over and the roto start has a freshly charged battrie so it work just fine, the fly wheel will not move by finger at all its locked up it prolly has about 4 or 5 tanks through it

Hmmm is it possible that there is anything loose inside the engine. If my engine felt like it had hydro lock I would definately take it apart. I have (knocking on wood here) yet to Vapor lock my engine. Make an inspection of the engine. It is also possible that a tiny little pin that rides in the crank shaft that connects to the con rod may have come out of place that go to the starting mechanism. If you decide to tear it down be careful of the pin flying out at you I had this happen with my 21BB engine. Were you able to get it free with the vice grips??? See the link for a picture of what I am talking about with the exploded view.

Ok, so if you don't feel competent in taking it apart then I'd suggest taking it to your local hobby store and asking them. Just make sure it's not Hobbytown UassA.

ahaha ns thats where i bought the gd truck in the first place, and i broke it lose with vice grips

If it wont turn over with the glow plug outm perhaps you could remove the bolts holding on the top of the motor (cooling head), and take a peek inside. See if everything looks ok in there.

Lots of knowledge on the borad, as long as we get the info we need, we can help ya.

Ok so does it feel like normal when you turn it over now??? Turns over with the regular resistance from the compression of the motor.

yes it seems 2 be turning over fine the fly wheel moves ok now
