Castle sidewinder problem - please help!

Setup is a castle sidewinder sct with a 5700kv motor. Battery is a 5100mah 7 cell nimh. It is fully charged... What's wrong?http://youtu.be/jwBPRtqwGLY

The transmitter is not calibrated with the esc. Check the instructions, it should tell you how to calibrate them.

Ok it's calibrated.... No difference. I think the motor is blown

Got it to work.... Extreme motor cogging was the issue

Lack of juice(amps). That motor is too hot(kv rating) for nimh batteries. You may be able to tone down the punch control to smooth things out further. Lipo batteries is the propper fix.

Does the c rating make a difference?

Makes all the difference.....the C rating on NiMHs is much lower than lipos thats why Metalhead suggested the proper fix to be addign lipos. As a good rule of thumb try to get 30C or higher if you can.
