I've found several carburettors on ebay for 25 engines, does this mean they will fit any 25 engine?

Mine is labelled as an irvine 25.

The listings never give dimesions, so is it safe to assume any of them will fit?

Thanks

25 and 2.5 are two different engine sizes. 2.5 is a small block. .25 is a big block. No way it will fit. Take some measurements, do some research.

Oh, sorry. I didn't mean to put 25 but was looking at an ebay page for 2.5 engine carbs and somehow wrote that down without realising.

I have done research, contacted people. Talked to ripmax today but couldn't really hear him on the phone so i'll try again tomorrow hopefully.

That's the carb for the new irvine 25 abc mk3. It looks almost identical to mine, aside from the two silver metal parts at the bottom by the throat. Not sure what these are?

Does anybody have this particular carb? Can you give me some dimensions for the throat?

If anyone has a 25 irvine and know a type of carb that will fit, please do let me know.

Thanks

Stuart
