I'm trying to put my old .21bb in my can funfactor. problem is, cen motor used a rotary carb., .21 has a slid carb. is there any way to convert slide to rotary or does anyone know of a rotary carb that would fit the .21? I believe the neck of the .21 carb is around 14mm not sure though. any help is appreciated, thanks.

Remove both carbs and test fit them. It only takes a few minutes and you will have the answer.

If it fits, you will need to re-do your linkage to operate the carb properly. When you start to mod you original setup, its all trial and error. Look, think, look, measure, and mod.

Let us know how your project goes.

I swaped the rotary part of the.16 for the slide on the .21 they fit. the only problem is the idle screw doesn't work exactlly as it should. it will open full throttle and stop which is good but it closes way to far and there is no way to stop it so hitting the breaks will kill the engine. still need to get a sevo for the throttle and hook up the linkages. also need to find a way to rig a rear exhaust. the old one had side exhaust. i will probably have to move the gas tank to get a manifold on it.
