i seen a t-maxx carbon fiber chassis for $30. but a pipe is a lot harder to make probly, to form it or however they do it.... still $78... wow.

There was a discussion on the carbon fiber chassis on another thread, and I wouldn't get it. By the time you have added every aluminum option to keep it from flexing, you've defeated the purpose of it's light weight.
As far as the carbon fiber pipe, who cares what it costs when it looks so good.
If I had it today, I wouldn't be wearing this Band Aid where I got a nasty burn from hitting my chrome pipe.

just wondering what is the point of a carbo fiber pipe imo nothing.it is the same thing as the org. 2.5 pipe imo its worth less.waste of money. i dought it will perform better then the stock 2.5 pipe. if you want performance get a siro big bore pipe now that is money well spent.....zandor

I see it as just being a decorative thing honestly
offering no real performance advantage other than less weight.

It looks cool and stupid at the same time to me. I like it being carbon fiber but somethign about it just dont look right. I'm really curious of the performance gains.

i paid 80 for a dynamite one piece with manifold but i do think 78 is overpriced for a replica of the stock pipe but in carbon fiber instead. I think it would be cool if they made carbon fiber RX and battery boxes though.

Now those would be cool, they would go with the CF shock towers I just got to go with my chassis. BTW, the only alum you need for the CF chassis is steering servo mounts. Most of us are already running skids and braces.

G8RMaxx- those shock towers look sweet and $50 for 2 shock towers seems resonable. have u broke ne on ur truck, do they hold up?

:wtf: :wtf: :wtf:

I haven't had a problem with any of their CF stuff. And the shock towers are twice as thick as the chassis. About the only way you could break one is to land real bad upside down with the body off and snap it back, but I would think that it would break the bulk, if it was stock. Ratzas makes a version of the shock tower that's pretty cool too. And matbe a little lighter.
