carb/engine sealer?

what cab i use to seal a carb i have premium copper gasket sealer that can withstand 350 degrees. c will that work?
if not what are the things i should be looking out for in a substance?
bear in mind i live in ireland and recommending a product that is available in the us more than likely wont be here. so ideally i would want a counterpart or something that will be sold on ebay.
I've heard some sealers look good but get nitro on em and they'll disintegrate.:\

I use permatex in the red tube. I have used the copper tube as well.

well i dont think this is called permatex but i dont think that brand ships here!
it says it works well for sealing car sumps and gearboxes so it can take high temps and pressure and heat well enough along with engine oil!

Thats the stuff I use. If yours has similar specs, then you should be ok to use it.
