If you decide to use the links in the video description to build your own, know that you will need to cut the prop down to fit inside the shroud.

The motor/esc will handle 3s, but is meant for an airplane so there is no reverse. The small test area worked for proof of concept, but a wide open space where I can hit full speed and make turns without obstacles is where this will be a lot more fun.

It really needs to be designed to function on both medium. That would be sooooo much fun!

It is designed by the original maker as a water craft. I picked this design because the rudder turns the air instead of the water so it would be able to run on a solid surface.

My buddy gifted me the printed parts to make the boat, the plans are free online. The motor/esc/prop kit was about 25, a Dumbo rc rx unit 10$, and 2 3s 2200mah batteries 24$ . Hard to beat on the $ for entertainment ratio.

That's in the plans.....for a first test run ....I was just not looking to drive somewhere. Now that it goes, I am gonna track down a place I can find the full potential.
