Hi there,

I read somewhere that it was ok to put more nitro fuel into the fuel tank without turning off the engine.
I have been too chicken to try this out, considering it burns invisible, has anyone tried this?

Thanks

Yes you can put more fuel in the tank while the engine is running.

Yeah it can be done. You must be fast though. It takes a lot of practice to get the lid on the fuel tank open and the fuel bottle wand in there in time before it catches on fire. Just kidding you. It is pretty straight forward. If there is a fire in your rc your body will be melting off so if that's happening don't stick the fuel bottle in there until the flame is out. Kidding you again.

Does the body on your rc have a cutout so you can do it with out taking the lid off? You can make some cut outs, put a zip tie on the tanks lid so you can grab it and open it up. Then take the fuel bottle that has the wand on it. Put it in through the window/cutout and into the fuel tank. Then slowly squeze the bottle until the tank is full. Keep the bottle squeezed until you are removing the fuel bottle then you slowly let the fuel bottle you were squeezing go back to it original shape. While it is doing that is suck air back into the bottle and also the fuel that is in the wand and keeps it from coming out and spilling all over the place. It pretty safe even for an old fart that has a lit cigarette in his mouth while he's filling up. Don't try that at home though.

Thanks guys, i just wanted to check before i tried it, lol

Zip Tie on the fuel lid and a hole in the windshield makes refueling a snap ;-) Pull the zip tie....tank opens...squirt in fuel....let go of zip tie. All the racers have this type of setup to make pit stops quick.

i also do this but it tends to make a fair mess of your RC so it can be better to just stop it and take off the LID expacially if you like your rig spotless before you put it back on the shelf like ME :D

Depends on where i am running and how long i am running for depends on what option i go for but yes it is totally safe.... although i dont know about doing it with a Lit cigarette in your mouth :/
