Can you run 1 digital and 1 analog servo?

Might buy 1 digital servo, its for steering, and i already have an analog for throttle/brake. Can you use both together? I'm using the futaba 3pm radio.

short answer, YES.

only in PPM mode, NOT HRS mode. HRS "high rate speed", is for digi servos only. You'll get a faster more accurate response out of your digi servos in HRS mode. however, HRS mode will kill your analog servos, even if you're only using one. You'd have to run all digi servos in order to use HRS mode on your 3pm, and you need to use HRS mode to get the most out of the digi servos.

Yes, I'm running a digital and standard on my savage at the moment. Digital steering, standard coreless for t/b.

Thanks guys. Ill replace the other analog servo with a digital after it dies. Id like to see what the difference is in HRS mode after all digital...

Wooooooohoooo just picked up my 2nd digital servo, can't wait to switch my radio to HRS mode and see the difference. Iv herd ppl say it's like driving a whole new rig, is that true? Is it that big of a difference?

Lol.just put it in, excited to try it out, too wet outside today. Everything seems so touchy now on the transmitter!! I could prolly blow on the trigger with breath and it would send signal to the servo. I picked up a JR Ds8717. 190oz@6v, .07sec@6v. Seems to be pretty good.

Yeah, i see that now! Not even compairable! My throttle servo is crazy fast, gonna take abit to get used to it all.
