I've been helped by so many people here, glad to be able to help where i can to give back!
was it a pretty quick idle or was it pretty slow? as far as the power fading, I'm wondering if it was the slipper clutch assembly, or may need to adjust the ball diff.
was able to find the manual for it:
http://www.losi.com/ProdInfo/Files/LOSA0887-manual.pdf
should confer that with the ball diff adjustment.

Idle was a bit sluggish. The more I learn about it I think my clutch shoes might be worn out. But all in all I’m gonna upgrade/ replace most of it anyway, lol.

Lol......any one of us could have identify your ride ,I don't like to be a bogart on helping people!

I know a lot about RC's ,but I am not too good on wording it down ,like other folks!

That Losi nt was a top of the line RC in its day ,they are becoming rare ,some times they pop up
on E-bay as rollers or complete , I had been tempted to buy one an build it!

I had restored one for a guy several years ago ,an fell in love with it ,they are fast just like they are!...Enjoy it!...:thumbs-up:
The more I work on this the more I love it. I haven’t opened it up all the way but I’m very happy with it. I didn’t realize what a gem I had.

The one I worked on for the guy had a trans. issue ,it had a stripped idler ,an when I replaced ,I had over tighten the
out drive cup screw an snapped it ,so I had to buy that ,clean an tune it for him ,I did both his T-maxx an NT!

Test running the NT ,the engine running a little on the rich side ,but after a little leaning ,it became very fast ,
it finally woke up after all those years of sitting!

Here they are!

Yeah, that stupid diff nut sucked. Hammad Ghuman made an alloy one piece nut that replaced the plastic "cup" with ears on it and the nut inside it. I don't think they are around anymore though. Too bad, they made nice stuff.

Not sure if this is the one for the xxx-nt or not:

Trinity also made an alloy diff gear, pretty sure those don't exist anymore either. They also made nice stuff. lol!
