I was disappointed in the NY fans though. Just because some riot police came out on the field they started behaving themselves. I really wanted to see the cops breaking some heads!

I'd say it was a tense moment or two. We all know NY ain't the friendliest town on earth. I can't complain too much about the umps because in the end, they made the right calls. But having that A-Rod call overturned hurt a lot. That would have really given NY a shot.

All I know is they best win tonight or I'm moving..

On second thought, Boston might be OK. The women in the stands in Boston were much hotter than the ones in NY.

I'm all for the contest...I'm A Willy Wonka fan and know the answer.
Candyman, I too like the new sig...although, "May I have 10,000 marbles" was also very cool.
Now my only negative comment to the sig is that the oompas were being slaughtered by vinicious knids....not rednecks with shotguns

my thoughts on the game last night ... schilling pitched one hell of a game .... umps made the right calls ... only thing i disagreed on was when they called a-rod out and brought jeter back to 1st ... jeter should of been granted 2nd base ... he would of been there after the tag...

i am not a boston fan ... nor a yankee fan .. only big question i have is why did they not bat someone else than tony clark at the bottom of the 9th with 2 outs and 2 on ????? very bad choice by torre to leave him in if you ask me ....

will be interesting tonight ... hope wakefield has as good a game that schilling had last night and his knuckleball really moves !!!!

I agree with the Jeter call. I figured he would have been given 2nd also. Oh well. Clark's not bad at the plate and I figure the only pinch hitter realistically would have been Kenny Lofton. The problem with that would be that if they tied up the game, who would have played 1st base in the next inning? Clark would be out of the game. Olerud is hurt. Giambi is overpriced. They didn't have much choice but to keep Clark in.

And scottm, I like the thought of another contest. But if you've seen the movie, wouldn't you know right away who my avatar is?

I disagree with this. Getting the call right should be the ultimate goal in any sport. It takes a big man to admit he was wrong in the call and listing to the others to make it right.


With that said GO SOXS!!!! I can't stand the Yankees.

lol george just keeps spending money ... he spent a ton after they lost to the d-backs ... then he blew another load after the loss to the marlins .... if they win tonight he will blow more next year when they lose to either the cards or the stros .....
