Can someone explain the Sony PSP to me?

I know that you can play games on it, but whats the memory card for?
I see that you can get pictures, video, and whatever else.
How do you get that stuff on there?

Can you watch movies too?

On a psp you can watch movies, play games, and download music and pics into it. The memory card is so you can download music and can also download movies and such into it. I usually download Tv episodes of different shows and watch them since I rarely will have enough time to watch a whole movie when I'm on the go. Its pretty slick. A person can also download games onto it as well with a program called Homebrew. Theres a usb connector on the top of the psp where you can just plug it into the comp and download the stuff from there. Or else you can even hook it up to the Ps2 and save stuff on the ps2's card. Pretty cool lil unit. You can also go on the internet with them.
