Can I use my old controllers

My son and I have raced electric Stampedes for sometime. We have retired the electric and want to go Nitro. Can we just buy kits instead of RTR and use our old controllers? Or would we just be better off getting new controllers? Would save a ton for Savage kits over the RTR.

You can use your old radio gear just fine.

You ought to look into a 2.4 ghz system such as the spektrum's and control all of your vehicles with 1 remote, and never have to worry about crystals or glitching from other remotes.

Thnx Robmob, I will buy the kit. I just can't justify buying a spektrum, wife would kill me, lol. Wife atm is going nuts cuz I wanna spend $400 on a truck for a 10 yr old.

Even though my husband loves nitro rc he doesn't understand why we need more then one....how do i get him to think more like you guys...i think we need atleast one each.. it's more fun then taking turns.

Buy hubby his own rig as a suprise birthday or xmas present, I'm sure he will appreciate it. And maybe become a little competetive... You never know...

Well, would that really be that bad? They are soft and warm and furry. Id rather sleep with my dog than my g/f sometimes because if i wana stretch out, i can just push the dog off of the bed and not feel bad about it.

Yeah, that is true! The wife does get a little upset when I snatch her pillow out from underneath her head because mine has found its way to the floor!

Fortunately for me, the wife is not a big fan of pink. It has to do with childhood issues (grandma always making her wear pink).

Not sure how we got to this, Grrlracer was told to buy her hubby a car of his own for his b-day by hopper2.

I just figure that is what would happen if I tried that on my wife.

Going from the remotes to there, I am not quite sure how that heppened.
