Hi just wondering if any one can help?
Basically I got a 1/10 monster truck and the other day it zoomed off on it's own into a wall and smashed the right front dog bone off! The wheel spins still spins freely, I was just wondering if I remove the left dogbone and just use it as a rear 2wd temporarily untill me new bits arrive via royal mail which may take some time now!
Can I do this or will it damage me nitro??

nah, it'll be fine. I'd also recommend removing the center driveshaft that goes from the tranny to the front diff. No sense spooling up the diff if it has no load on it. I will say this. You'll find the truck drives very differently in 2WD. It'll be a bit harder to control. Might be fun. Don't know until you try, right?

I ran my t-maxx that way for an afternoon when i popped a front shaft. It should be fine. But like Candyman said i would remove the drive shaft too.

I tried running my LST XXL with RWD once. Not good, there's just way to much power coming from that 454. It just spins out on me all the time, even on grass. :hehe:

Just like Rolex said....it WILL be harder on the rear diff. I shelled one out that way. But it was still fun. It did not drive for crap but it would burn-out like no tomorrow.
