Can I put a .28 in my 1/10 scale hpi chassis ?

Hey guys I was wondering if anyone would know what it would take for me to drop a .28 engine into my 1/10th scale HPI chassis I want big block power any help is appreciated

It's been done before. Make sure you stock up on driveline parts. I'll have to look it back up. @cbaker65 has an ofna big block tc.
 
I'm sure it can be done. Just a matter of finding or making mounts that will line up. Tried fitting a .21 in mine years ago and can't remember what the issue was. Put an OS .18 in it instead and that's a handful. Stupid fun.

If you do make it work it's going to tear up the drive train.

I definitely need new motor mounts but I am also concerned with the gear mesh it appears to me that the pitch is different
 
I had to trim/cut back the opening in my chassis just to put a OS.18 cv-rx in my pro .15 rustler.
