how do you guys set your camber and toe on your trucks. I have been trying to set my by eye and it has'nt seemed to be working that well. I was just wondering is there some kind of tool you can use to set it with. I have seen tools to set it on on road cars but i have never seen a tool for off road cars. I gues you could use the same tool for on road cars for off road too ??8-0

I have an extra set of rims with no tires.
On the front adjust the turnbuckles until both the inside and outside edge of each rim touches the table at the same time. Bounce it a few times and make sure you didn't get a false reading.

To adjust the toe in, use a striate edge across both rims without tires and adjust the turnbuckles until all 4 rim edges touch. This will give you 0 toe. then evenly adjust both sides for the desired amount of toe in. Make sure you do the toe adjustment while both your RX an TX are on and your trim adjustment is in the neutral position. This works amazingly well. For a straight edge I use a 1/4 x 1/4 square stick of oak about 14" long.

What the hell do you do with that camber tool?

I like the rims without tires idea.

Fast eddie thanks for the tip i used it tonight to set up my losi it worked like a charm:cheers:

So what is your opinion of them i just got a set today i was told by the owner of the track that i run on that they were very strong i guess ill find out

With the XXX-Nt they work great.
I have the Adam Drake and it came stock with them. MIP makes some great stuff. Its a little more expensive than others and a bit on the heavy side but worth it.

Tip: get a few bags of MIP shock shaft o-rings (Blue Ones) and put one o-ring over each ball stud on your truck then pop the caps over them.

Doing this will eliminate any play in your front end and steering.

thanks a bunch I've been wondering what the little foamy thing were for

The name is "Foam things".LOL They are designed to keep the dirt out of the caps.

The O-ring will take their place and accomplish 2 things at once.
