Brakes Arent Working

Hey everyone, I have a Nitro RS4 ( The old one ) and the brakes arent working. In order for them to engage I have to push the silver thing fowards, the servo isnt able to push it far enough to engage it.

Any suggestions?

You can't adjust the collar on the linkage to take up most of the slack when it's at idle?

That didnt work, it wouldnt go down far enough and at a certain point the servo just wouldnt move at all.

I bent the pin back and it works now, A temporary fix I guess.. Ill go to the hobby store later.
