Better slash transmission internal gears

does anyone know of a better set of internal gears for the traxxas 2wd trans? I've looked all over for something more bulletproof. just gotta know if there is something i could use to get the most life out of my trans as possible

One word, well not a word but a part number
272R. It's a beast. 272R input shaft and idler gear should fit the 272 case, the sealed diff won't because it takes a larger bearing.

Just get the 272R off of Jenny's rc for 90ish bucks.

But if you wanna stick with the 272 case. The 272R top shaft will fit and be more durable. Robinson Racing has a idler gear. I have no idea for the diff tho.
