Hello RCNT members and friends, hah
Well as you Stock Associated NTC3 owners know, the stock servo's really suck, no response or anything, so i am going to upgrade them, maybe i'll pick up a trick set of linkages as well and a servo saver. now i am trying to sell some items in the FS forum, when i get my cash i am going to go buy some better servo's, i have to keep the stock radio for now. i was looking at the JR 590m Servo, and the Hitec HS-625mg. What do you think for that combination? Also, i heard theres a 10x better servo out there "better than the 590M" by JR thats 40 bucks. LMK what that is. Or what do you suggest for servo's, I need to make this thing handle like a dream. Thanks!

Also- My spending limit is around 90 bucks... but i dont want to have to go that high. My budget isnt that well. Thanks again.

For 90 dollars, get the Futaba 3305 for steering (metal gear, moderate torque) and 3010 for the throttle (metal gear as well but less torque). Both these servo's have good response time and best bang for the buck. I actually got these servo's after my stock ones (3003) crapped on me.

3305 = $38
3010 = $28

That should stick you well below your budget.

I just switched out my steering servos to the JR Z590M. They are pretty nice and you can find them for about $20 on ebay. Here are the specs:

Gear: Metal
Torque: 85 oz @ 6V
Speed: 0.15 sec @ 6V

I am using the Savage SF-2 Servo for my throttle/brake. It works like a champ also. I had one as my steering servo, but it didn't last long w/ me hitting the guard rails all the time. So after blowing out the plastic gears, I finally upgraded to the metal gear servo and went w/ the JR.
