uh oh, have there been many other reports of this, or did you just recieve a bad failsafe? Mine hasn't come in yet, should i cancel my order or should i try it first?

Turn on the radio before the receiver to lock in the signal. Alway check that both are on by turning the steering, not the throtle.

Make sure your glow ignitor is charged!

Make sure there is gas in the tank

Most of all ... check frequencies if you're in a group BEFORE you try to start it

What does it say when the batteries are low? I have the new one too and it works fine.
i don't have any fail-safe yet, but when the batteries are low i think the led starts to blink, hold on a second, i'll check the website though.

nope, safe mode is blinking red, when any thing happens, batteries low, radio interference, loss of signal, or any other thing. The LED is solid red.

So to answer your question, the LED turns solid red when the batteries are low

I have an ofna failsafe on my RC10GT, and it works, but it always says the batteries are low, even when its a full charge and my volt meter says they are full, so i am going to give the venom one a try.
I have one question for you, do you run rechargable batteries in your rx, if you do, rechargable batteries' voltage is 1.3v per battery/cell. So if you add up 4, the voltage may dip below the lowest allowed by the failsafe (4.5 i think)
Just a thought, I hope it helps!

My tip stay away from some of these guys like Rolex or Zandor they bite. Just kidding everybody here is great. my tip practice practice practice. and ask as many Q's as possible

When its blinking, its fine? I had no idea, i thought when it was blinking, the batteries were low! I run a rechargable.

Oh and by the way, .21Rc10GT, here is the ofna website where it says that about the failsafe,
http://www.ofna.com/failsafe-micro.html
Just thought i might make it clearer than a window washed with windex
(Hey who writes this stuff)
:stick:

True.

By the way, thank you spm for clearing that up. I was about to get rid of it, because i thought the blinking was the battery indication. Thanks for clearing that up, it works fine! my bad.

I almost forgot, :stick:
