hey guys. I made this little device to help get all of the fuel out of the tank. It really works pretty well.
i never thought of that, i think i will make one since i have the same problem about getting all of the fuel out of the tank.
thanks

also Herbiece, what shock boots are on that thing, do you like them?

or get a fuel pump and attach it to the fuel line and suck it out. It works really well

I got them on e-bay. My springs kept rubbing on the shocks. these "shock socks" help reduce the rubbing, and since they also crush with the springs they add a little padding for extra tough landings. I can do a drop test from about 4 feet on my basement floor without bottoming out. they're nylon material and they've lasted through a bunch of snow bashing, but I doubt they'll last forever. They cost about $2 to make though.

awesome, does a specific manufacturer make shock boots, since my shocks are covered in grass, although it will come off with a little cleaning.

yeah listen to the man! lol

don't forget to put fuel in your car.
have a job
don't get nitro in your eyes
use denatured alcohol to clean the car
clean after every 1/8 or 1/4 GAL. or when needed.

use ebay for finding parts
if out of body clips, use safty pins or paper clips temp.
if you brake a part, upgrade to a better part.

don't listen to me

oh make sure you don't put a lighter up to the engine. Don't put nitro fuel in a petrolium (spell) engine.

If you ever have any problems starting it, ditch the blue wire and get a glow plug heater. I seems to work a lot better than the blue wire.
I have seen about 3 different maxx's, including mine, that would have a problem starting up. Tried using a glow plug heater, and it did the trick. Id also recommend a failsafe. It can save you lots of $$$ from a runaway.

About the fail safe, i found out the hard way if you know what i mean. if running 35 mph into a stone wall isn't the hard way i don't know what is  lol

I'm not real sure if your being sarcastic as in getting a "tip" of something ripped off, or somone taking a home-made mod and patenting it.
i mean someone giving a suggestion and another peorson using it to win a race against them or something.

I am going to get a failsafe before my t-maxx runs away on me! I ordered one the other day along with my new Maximizer diffs and the Lunsford 1/8th linkage upgrade with Ti. turnbuckles. I will snap a new pic when i get all of this put back onto my maxx!

sweet man what fail safe is it, i just ordered an ofna failsafe on ebay from rcmaxpower

I have an ofna failsafe on my RC10GT, and it works, but it always says the batteries are low, even when its a full charge and my volt meter says they are full, so i am going to give the venom one a try.
