this might not be the right place for this but. what is the best proforming platform that horizon hobby makes. any company any look. just what are your opinions what its good and price doesn't matter

Welcome in @Shrilly , for the most part, buying any kit from any retailer will be a decent kit. The Traxxas TRX4, and Axial SCX10 is usually the more popular rigs. Redcat isn't bad for crawlers also. I have the Gen 7 and Everest 10.
The most important thing to do is make sure there are available parts but with these rigs, there is.
The Axial SCX24 is really becoming popular and lots of guys have them here.
I would stay away from any amazon kits and stick with well-known brands.
I run SCX10s and SCX24s mostly but a TRX4 kit is in my near future. ;)

how do capras fit in there. there kinda a in between a kit competitions build and like a trx 4
Bully II Comp Crawler, no question. Horizon doesn't distribute any othe MOA Comp-Style rigs that I am aware of.
what is the closest to a comp rig. I'm kinda looking at the capra

I've never owned the Capra so I can't offer any recommendation but I do have an Axial Bomber that is a kick in the arse to run.
I would definitely give it a try if it were me.

What are you wanting? You say best performing but to what degree? Do you want it to be a scaler that performs very well regardless of if its scaled after a daily driver or a pro crawler or do you just simply want the best crawling performance possible?
For straight up performance, you will not get any better than a MOA crawler. The Bully 2 is the only quality kit available anymore. But you can go single esc with a dig unit and have great performance or you can (with proper radio) go dual esc and have even better capability. But if you would prefer a scale look then something like the Capra would likely be your best choice for a kit. With some mods it will perform pretty good and you can have 4ws and or dig. But it wont ever perform like a MOA crawler but can be very capable still.

If the Capra is what your interested in there are a lot of great videos on YouTube.

There are a ton of others if you search….

I asked for some input on the Capra 4 wheel steer a few days back but didn’t get a ton of response, but the response was positive.

I just want to add another brand crawler to the mix. The are sold by horizon but not a horizon owned brand. That is element rc. It’s an associated product name for their crawlers. I bought one almost two years ago and have been totally happy with it. Very reliable and capable. The ecto is the newest version and performs even better then the enduro sendaro that I have. Comes with 6% under drive in the rear and the gears to go to 12%. (Same as overdrive in the front). If your looking for more scale looks then performance their other models very nice. My son in-law got one at the same time as me and it also held up very good. I have an axial scx10ii also that I like but the element my go to rig. Good luck. Have fun!

I'll second this, I am an Element fan myself. :) I have a Sendero HD, Ecto, and TrailRunner. So far the only issue I've had is the servo in the Sendero HD died. It's a tough truck though.

I did forget about the servo. Yes I had one die and replaced with a 35kg coreless on off Amazon and has worked good and more powerful.
