Novorossi NS12S5 1.6hp 43,000rpm

But it all depends on your definition on "best engine"

Most reliable could be O.S. 12tr

thats very true - Kwong has the NR, and couldnt be happier, however u couldnt pay me to own one of those things. I swear by the OS .12TR and CV-R.

Plus - are u racing? the NR that kwong uses isnt legal for sanctioned ROAR racing, it has 5 ports.

nah I am not racing...
something that is better than my HPI 12Rss engine... something that has good torque.. not to concerned about top speed.. we have a track here... but I already put on a bid for that Novorossi NS12S5 engine... this will going in my RS4 3ss

It's roar legal. And it's a 4 port

Let me get this right.. Does the ROAR rules only allow 4 port? Is that 4 port + exhaust?

Okey, that must be what we call a 3-port engine? If not, then RB doesn't have an engine within the ROAR rules, and that would be kind of strange..

I would recommend the RB Concepts X12 Turbo Rody EFRA I guess..

i have to check - but i dont think that RB has a .12 that falls within stock ROAR guidlines - RB engines are only open class. no turbo plugs allowed either

Okey, I give up then :-) Strange things about these rules.. IFMAR should go in and clear this up, and get the same rules all over the world for this class. No point in ROAR and EFRA not having the same rules!

Would make it easier for both the drivers and manufacturers.

I run the RB X12 3 port (non turbo) & it is ROAR approved!
Its fast, and has very good power curve!

Dude get a Fantom

Man I got a Fantom FR.15 engine for my RS43SS and it screams. 1.25 horsepower @ 43,000 RPM's. Fantom just came out with an .18 that should have even more power. The FR15 should give you the same power yield of a moderate .21. Plus they are cheep on rebuilds. I swear by them.

than click on products. Even a .12 wouldn't be a bad way to go with one of these at all. Late
