I love my Flysky GT3b for surface use because it contains all functions I'll ever need, it has multi receiver memory, still in production and it's affordable.

Is there any airplane suitable joystick transmitter with receiver with similar aspects?

I only have experience with Spektrum TX/RX for my planes. The DX6e will do everything you want. I know there are less expensive brands that will also do what you need but I don't have any experience with them.

Thanks guys, but $260 for a TX is quite much for me. I'll just go on the cheap with flysky, as I always do, because after 3 years none have left me down🙂
Before getting a TX, however, I made sure to buy a plane already😃

It's the same plane as the one I've been learning to fly with at my RC club, the miltiplex funcub

Now thats a cool little guy, I have its little brother, hobby zone cub s2, tied into my dx6 it does great. I can store 200 model aircraft on this radio.

I like RadioMaster myself, just bought a new Tx16s. I have a nearly new Boxer for sale that’s a pretty darn good Tx as well. I bought it thinking it would be a good bargain, but I like the bigger radio better so got that.

I fly Futaba with my larger models (I have used the brand for 20 years without issues) but recently have seen a lot go with Radiomaster and Frsky with no issues - both are great value. I use a Radiomaster pocket with a 4in1 module to fly all the smaller Spektrum and Chinese bind and fly models - they bind to about 70 brands rf signals, less than 60 bucks US as well. Great value.

Honestly, everyone loves the brand they use. Just pick one and go for it, modern radios are all very reliable.
