My only experience with ceramics is in the clutch, lets just say it didn't go well. I'd put in a vote for Avid or Boca.
 
I’ll vote for avid bearings, apparently a lot of pros use them and they cheap, regular bearings are a buck and ceramics are like 5

You guys that are saying avid, do you mean acer or do you really mean avid? For my money, avids aren't that tight of a bearing. Their good to buy for axles and CB's because their cheap, but I bought them for an engine (which aren't a $1, but still cheap) and they didn't seal well.
 
Yeah I was talking about avid, I will say that I have not bought their engine bearings and could very well see it being a get what you pay for scenario.
