I've been out of the hobby for a few years and am now getting back into it. I bought one of these buggies on ebay for a good price. What do you guys think of them. Thanks

They're made by Smartech. Honestly, most people on the board will hiss at that name. However, some people have bought them and they like them.

I ended up with a smartech for one of my First R/C models and have to actually say, besides the parts to repair them, these things are pretty cool.

I ordered it direct from Hong Kong, and the parts are blatantly Non exsitant. they show pictures of the parts on thier "Site" but all they are is pictures used to entice the buyer. if you get one of these things, I hope you have a large pit box of parts you can modify to fit it, because you more tha likely will not find stock or hop-up replacements.

The thing ran great, it was my first R/C and the mill was gone in about a week of driving, along with the front A-arm and hub. After the cash I dropped on it, I broke it all down and am systematicly using the parts I got of it for other R/c models I own. I am still overall happy with what I got, It was a cheap thing to learn a bit on before dropping a lot of cash on something I knew nothing about at the time. I had a blast with it and when I got tired of it ran it WOT into a wall for a chuckle.

I found out about the parts when I tried to replace a control arm that was broke when I purchased it. I ended up using the front uppers off of a Ofna Ultra buggy. hopefully I won't have to replace anything else.

Bazooka

My kid's first Nitro was a Smartech and he drove the damned thing until is was worn out.
The Bazooka buggy seems to have parts that look very similar to the earlier Kyosho MP777s...
Just an observation, but I could very well be mistaken
