my rc car came in the mail and it came with a battery for the electric starter and when i charged it it got realy hot i got a tmaxx 3.3

the charger will normally get hot, my batteries get warm but never "realy hot". And just a word of advice, try and be a little more specific with your posts, ex. when you get a new rc and make a post about it tell us what it is.

He said it is a T-Maxx 3.3.

Just a word of advice: Read the entire post before chastising someone. Thanks!

You are using a trickle charger. They normally charge at a rate of 100 mAh an hour and require you to charge your pack for hours. Example: A 1200 mAh battery requires 12 hours to charge, assuming it is completely dead. The real chore is figuring out how much to charge a partially charged battery.

My suggestion would be to get yourself a nice Peak Detecting charger. There are many to choose from and run anywhere from $30 to $150, so there is one for any budget. A Peak charger can be set to charge at different rates and detects the "peak" charge and stops the charging process so that you do not over-charge your packs.

fixed. sorry Beast I don't usually get into this whole de-railing thing.

I was referring to the original starter of this thread, Backyard.beast. Who do you think the "whom" is? I started of trying to help the guy and you had to go back and edit your first post cause all you did was call me out. And I've never been named after a peanut butter before, thanks Jiffy.

EDIT (cause new posts were made while I was typing): I'm trying to give the guy advice on how to stay alive on these boards. I've read other posts by many members of this forum that are very unclear about their questions. This will probably sounds very hypocritical but we can be all be overly critical.

PS. read your last post and tell me how thats not changing the subject of this original thread.

Whatever. It's your fairytail so you tell it any way you want. And for your information I edited my "first post" to add MORE HELPFUL INFO. You are pissing up the wrong tree. Now please back off.

EDIT: I don't have time to play, got more important things to do with my time. Have a nice day.

Edit: Beast wants help over PM. So I will help him there. Again, have a nice day!
