Hello every1 I'm new to the R/C world I own a rocket pro, I've got 2 battery's for it both 7.2v 1 is a 2000mah n a 4200mah, just bought a lipro dual 6 charger and I'm confused???. What will be the charge current for these?, n what's the max amps I can charge?. Any answers please.

The maximum I charge any of my batteries is at their rated current. If the rated current is 2100 mAH then that is what I would charge them with (2 amp is also acceptable). Your 4200 mAH is best charged around 4.2 amps. This will ensure a full charge of the battery and help them last longer. A good tip is to let the batteries cool down between running them, charging them and running them again.

Thanks for the advice, it seems clearer now. Probably my own fault for buyin a fancy charger, I got a lipro dual 6 and I was baffled. Thankyou once again

No problem. I still think that my phone is smarter than I am.

I have charged as quoted with this lipro dual 6, I got a bit worried though the 2000 beeped about 1600 and my 4200 was still charging at 4400 so I pulled the plug not sure if this was the right thing to do, does anyone know anything about this lipro dual 6 charger?
Also what's discharge rate for a 2000 and a 4200

I've never heard of that particular charger, but you might want to charge then discharge the batteries to try and get them to take a really good charge. Most good intelligent chargers have a charge/discharge mode. Run each of them through several cycles and let us know what happens.

I'd discharge them at about 2 times their rated capacity.

Sowith out sounding numb that's 4.0 amps for the 2000mah one and 8.4 amps for the 4200mah, cheers for all the advice.
