I'm trying to get more turning ability and i was wondering what battery pack would fit that has 6 volts. Right now i'm using rechargeable AAs which only give you 4.8 volts. Also i've heard that the stock servo saver on the savage sucks so if anyone knows of a good servo saver to use that would be great. (link, pics would be great) I have a savage SS with a Hitec 645MG sterring servo. Thanks!!

A Kimbrough Servo Saver will work just great. CLICK HERE to see it at Tower Hobbies.

Another option and the growing favorite is to replace the steering set up in the Savage with one from the Ofna Monster Pirate. This set up has a built in servo saver and does not require one attached to the servo. THIS LOOKS LIKE THE ONE found at Tower Hobbies.

As for power sources, a nice rechargeable hump pack would be a great addition.

I run one made by Venom Racing in my Buggy, and recommend it. I believe THIS IS IT found at Stormer Hobbies.

Sky said it all. These are must have upgrades. Every penny will be more than well spent.
